A Farewell Party or a Reunion is a great opportunity to engage a magician to entertain. How about both?
My opportunity just came up with a couple that engaged me for a birthday party 6 years ago. Now when someone keeps your contact information for 6 years and wants you to perform again, you know that they don’t want just anyone, they want YOU.
I was asked to perform at a 55th birthday party 6 years ago for a lovely couple. The show went well and they seemed thrilled, come to find out I really didn’t know by how much. They have recently sold their home and will be moving away and wanted to have a farewell party with all of their best friends and family for a gala send off. Lo and behold they fondly remembered me and contacted me to be there for them.
Family Reunions and Farewell Party events are a great use of magical entertainment. Magic will get everyone talking about a common event that they experience and that will most certainly lead to talk of past experiences that they share in common. This is the kind of thing that makes a great party happen, and one that I am very glad to have a part in helping make happen.
I am so looking forward to the event and reconnecting after all these years. It should be quite the reunion and farewell party all rolled into one.
